The MA Lighting grandMA2 Light is a powerful lighting control console built for live events and production environments, including conventional fixtures, moving lights, LEDs, video, and media. Its hands-on layout and fast programming workflow make it a strong fit for touring rigs, venues, and corporate production, and it is ideally suited as a backup device for the grandMA2 full-size.
Control Capacity and Expandability
The grandMA2 light can handle an almost infinite number of presets, cues, pages, sequences and effects, which supports complex shows and rapid updates during rehearsals and run-of-show changes. For larger systems, it provides real-time control for up to 65,536 parameters per session in connection with MA NPU (equivalent to 256 DMX universes), plus 4,096 HTP-/LTP parameters for flexible control across mixed fixture types.
Displays, Playback, and Operator Workflow
For programming and playback, the console includes two internal 15.4" WXGA TFT wide mode touchscreens and an internal 9" SVGA multi-touch command screen (touch-enabled), providing quick access to layouts, editors, and playback views. It also supports two external TFT screens (UXGA, touchscreens accepted) to expand your workspace for multi-user operation or more detailed show views.
