NEW TMB 100ft Proplex 5-Pin DMX Cable, Assembled, is a professional 5-pin DMX data cable designed for reliable lighting control signal runs in touring, theatrical, and event production environments.
Proplex series data cables are built to survive the toughest conditions, yet handle and coil well, again and again and again. They have been exhaustively developed, tested and re-tested.
Built for dependable DMX performance
This cable is engineered as a true DMX data line with 110 Ohm characteristic impedance, supporting consistent signal integrity over longer runs and through demanding rigs. A dual-shield design (aluminum/mylar inner shield with full coverage, plus tinned copper braid outer shield) helps reduce interference, which is especially useful around dimmers, power distribution, and dense cable looms.
Rugged construction for production work
Inside, the conductors are 23 AWG (0.34 mm2) tinned, annealed copper stranded (19 x 34) with high-temperature, high-voltage FEP insulation (200° C, 300V). The pairs are cabled with a Kevlar strength member for durability and improved resistance to pulling stress. The black UV-resistant polyurethane jacket is designed for repeated handling and tough environments, with high-pressure extrusion for added resilience.
