Proplex series data cables are built to survive the toughest conditions, yet handle and coil well, again and again and again. They have been exhaustively developed, tested and re-tested. With a 110 Ohm characteristic impedance, these cables are designed for stable DMX data transmission in entertainment lighting and other 5-pin DMX/RDM control runs where dependable signal performance and durability matter.

Built for Demanding Production Use

To help stand up to frequent setup and teardown, the cable is assembled with paired conductors cabled around a Kevlar strength member, plus a dual-shield design (aluminum/mylar inner shield with 100% coverage and an 85% coverage tinned copper braid outer shield). A black UV-resistant polyurethane jacket supports long service life and consistent handling, even when the cable is repeatedly coiled and deployed.
