Optimized for a fast return of investment, the Astera AX5 Triple Par is built to replace both wireless and wired PAR fixtures and battery uplights in a single, tour-ready tool. With an RGBAW LED engine and built-in wireless control, it is a practical choice for event production, stage lighting, and architectural uplighting where fast setup and consistent results matter.

RGBAW Output for Clean Whites and Saturated Color

The AX5 uses a 45 W RGBAW LED engine to deliver punchy color and adjustable white light. Output is rated at 1,080 lumens at 3200K and 1,413 lumens at 5500K, with measured illuminance of 4,800 lux (3200K) and 5,151 lux (5500K) at 2 m. Color quality is supported by a CRI (Ra)/TLCI rating up to 92 across 3200 to 6500 K.

Beam Control and Effects

A 13° beam angle (26° field angle) helps keep light focused for accents and uplighting, while strobe is available from 0 to 25 Hz when effects are needed.

Wireless and Wired Control Options

For integration into different workflows, the fixture supports wired DMX (via 5-pin XLR) and includes a built-in CRMX receiver. Wireless protocols include CRMX and UHF, with wireless range up to 300 m (330 yds). Infrared control is also supported.

Battery Power and Touring Practicality

The internal battery provides runtime up to 20 hours, with a nominal 5-hour charging time. Battery lifetime is rated at 70% after 300 cycles. For power distribution, AC input supports 90 to 264 VAC, and the fixture uses PowerCON TRUE1 IN/OUT connections.

Durable, Outdoor-Ready Construction

An aluminum housing and IP65 rating make the AX5 suitable for demanding environments. Operating temperature is 0 to 40 °C (32 to 104 °F). Each fixture weighs 3.4 kg (7.5 lbs) and measures 148.1 mm x 193.6 mm x 213.5 mm (with bracket) or Ø 153.2 mm x 140.5 mm (without bracket).
