The Clay Paky A.leda B-EYE K10 is a versatile RGBW LED moving light designed to cover multiple looks in one fixture, from smooth stage washes to tight aerial beams and animated FX. Its wide 4° to 60° zoom makes it a practical choice for low-ceiling venues (where broad coverage matters) as well as large rooms and arenas (where a narrow, punchy beam helps cut through).
Wash, Beam, and FX in One Fixture
The B-EYE is able to wash surfaces with colors at any distance, making the most of its light source. The zoom ranges from 4° to 60° and it is therefore suitable both for environments with low ceilings (small theatres and TV studios, for example), where large angles are extremely useful, and for shows in arenas or large environments, where a tight zoom is perfect.
When the B-EYE beam is zoomed down to 4°, the "wash" light turns into a "beam" fixture. The B-EYE therefore becomes a surprising mid-air parallel effect light, capable of generating a pulsating beam of micro-rays, which may be controlled individually, each with its own colors and shades. All the parameters of each LED can be completely controlled, which is ideal for building pixel-style chases, segmented color looks, and precise beam pattern compositions.
Optics and Rotating Front Lens Effects
Lastly, the B-EYE K10 introduces a completely new feature: the front lens may be rotated to create lots of small bright compositions, which may be opened and closed like petals. By adding colors and dynamic graphics, the B-EYE generates never-seen-before graphic light effects, and can also be used for vortex and kaleidoscopic-style aerial looks.
Control and Color Tools for Modern Rigs
With 19 RGBW LEDs (15W nominal each) and individual LED parameter control, the B-EYE K10 supports detailed color mixing and repeatable, digitally accurate effects. For integration into professional lighting networks and workflows, it supports Art-Net and RDM. Additional tools such as beam edge softening (wash mode), white CCT emulation from 2500 to 8000K, RGB auto-tuning to lamp CCT emulation, and tungsten lamp emulation help match looks across mixed fixture types and camera-friendly environments.
