The Elation PROTEUS LUCIUS is a powerful yet compact IP65-rated LED profile fixture designed for dependable indoor or outdoor use where output, precision, and weather protection all matter. It delivers outstanding projection and beam qualities for touring, festivals, architectural events, and permanent installs that need a fixture sealed against dust and water.

High-output LED engine for long-throw projection

Providing up to 33,500 lumens output from its custom-designed hotspot 580W 6,500K LED engine, the PROTEUS LUCIUS is built to cut through ambient light and haze with bright, powerful beams while maintaining quiet operation. The hotspot engine supports strong intensity at long distances, making it well-suited for large stages and outdoor venues.

Color, framing, and effects for precise looks

PROTEUS LUCIUS provides the designer a comprehensive FX package with 13 rotating and 7 fixed glass gobos, full animation wheel, overlapping dual prisms, dual frost and a high-speed iris, giving you both clean beam shaping and dynamic texture options. CMY color mixing and variable CTO help you quickly match other fixtures and cameras, while the 5-position color wheel includes a high CRI filter option for applications where color rendering is a priority.

Its indexable framing system allows full-blackout shutter cuts for precise beam shape control, ideal for tight focus on scenic elements, signage, or stage zones without unwanted spill.

Wide zoom range in a sealed, tour-ready design

With a fast zoom range from 5.5° to 50° out of an impressively compact fixture design, the PROTEUS LUCIUS can shift from narrow long-throw beams to broader coverage without changing fixtures. Fully sealed from dust and water, it is a rugged fixture for a wide variety of applications.

Control and integration

For integration into modern lighting networks, PROTEUS LUCIUS supports DMX and RDM, plus Art-NET and sACN protocols, with multiple DMX channel modes (43/68 Ch.) for streamlined programming or deep control. A touch control panel and full color reversible LCD menu display support quick setup, and hibernation mode helps reduce power when the fixture is idle.
