NEW Elation Proteus Brutus FS

The NEW Elation Proteus Brutus FS is an extremely bright, IP66-rated LED follow spot built for medium to long throw applications that demand precise, smooth control and consistent color quality at distance. Use it as a traditional manual follow spot with removable handles, or integrate it with many automated remote tracking systems for remote operation in indoor venues or outdoor environments.

Built for Remote Tracking and Camera Integration

The PROTEUS BRUTUS FS provides a removable IP rated camera housing to attach all commonly used POE or SDI cameras. Cables and a variety of camera connections are all integrated into the chassis for easy customization. The fixture provides several ways of data and low voltage power connections for seamless integration. Camera choices vary for any of the different tracking systems, no camera is included with the fixture itself.

Color Control Tuned for Follow Spots

PROTEUS BRUTUS FS provides the user CMY color mixing, variable CTO and a variable CRI filter from CRI70 to CRI 90, allowing excellent color control essential for follow spot applications. This makes it easier to match cameras and other fixtures, warm up or cool down skin tones, and maintain a natural look when the performer moves through different lighting environments.

Long-Throw Beam Shaping and Output

Zoom, Focus and Iris are all optimized for the unique requirements of follow spots, and a variable frost rounds out the beam control options. The fixture includes 5 indexable gobos, preloaded with a variety of beam shaping images.

With a narrow zoom range of 3° to 35° the PROTEUS BRUTUS FS has the power to cut through at great distances. The fully dust and waterproof design is well suited for a wide range of exterior or indoor applications.

Shipping and Transport

The PROTEUS BRUTUS FS ships in a cardboard box with a custom fitted polyurethane foam FIL (Foam In Lay) insert. This foam insert easily fits into a custom sized flight case (not included) and provides enhanced impact protection during transport.
