The Martin MAC Encore Wash CLD soft edge moving head delivers crisp 6000 K neutral daylight with smooth Fresnel-style output, making it a practical modern replacement for generic HMI-based Fresnel fixtures when you want the added flexibility of color mixing and motorized movement. Designed for professional film, broadcast, and live production, it maintains consistent color through zoom and dimming, and it is engineered for camera-friendly performance.

Please note this item is shipped in cardboard box w/ polystyrene packaging. These units are Martin B-Stock and come with a 1-year manufacturer warranty.  All fixtures are cleaned and tested before leaving the building.

Camera-Ready Daylight, Smooth Dimming, and Quiet Operation

Its pure white LED engine is rated at 6000 K CCT with no color temperature variation during zoom and dimming, helping keep skin tones and scenic elements consistent through cues. Flicker-free operation (LED driver frequency suitable for all camera applications) supports high-speed and broadcast workflows. For noise-sensitive environments, whisper-silent operation combines convection and forced-air cooling, with user-selectable output vs. sound level control.

Control is fully electronic, with dimmer and shutter functions, multiple dimming curves, and tungsten red-shift emulation for a more incandescent-style fade when desired.

Color and Beam Shaping for Stage and Studio

For color work, vibrant CMY mixing covers rich saturated primaries through smooth pastels, supported by variable CTO for daylight-to-tungsten control and CMY palette expansion that stays true to the black body curve. A separate color wheel adds 6 interchangeable dichroic filters plus open for quick access to repeatable looks.

A Fresnel lens with a 1:4 zoom provides precise, silent, fast beam changes. For shaping and control, the internal barndoor system includes two shutter blades and an iris, the blades can overlap for full blackout, and the entire system rotates +/- 100 degrees to match framing and set orientation. The iris is precise and tight, with adjustable dynamic effects, and the Animotion FX System provides internal dimming effect macros for 3D mid-air and projection-style looks.

Reliable Movement, Compact Footprint

Pan and tilt are super precise and quiet thanks to 3-phase stepper motor technology and absolute position monitoring, helping fixtures repeat cues accurately from show to show. The compact housing measures 452 x 480 x 745 mm (17.8 x 18.9 x 29.3 in.) and weighs 28.5 kg (62.9 lbs), making it easier to plan rigging and transport compared to larger-format washes.
