Chauvet Professional COLORado Panel Q40

COLORado Panel Q40 is a powerful IP65-rated rectangular RGBW LED wash light built for productions that need reliable indoor/outdoor flexibility, from touring rigs and temporary event installs to architectural accents. It uses 40 x 15 W RGBW LEDs for smooth, consistent edge-to-edge color mixing across the face of the fixture, making it a strong choice for wall washes, scenic elements, cycloramas, and wide stage looks.

These units are B-Stock from Chauvet and come with a 90 day warranty.

Output and color performance

With up to 16,589 lumens, COLORado Panel Q40 delivers punchy saturated colors and clean tints, plus a 2800 to 10000 K color temperature range for dialing in warm-to-cool white looks when you need a more natural palette on camera or in mixed lighting environments. Advanced optics are designed for high efficiency and exceptional color mixing, helping eliminate color hot spots and visible “pixel” separation.

Beam control for close or wide washes

Installed optics provide a 15° beam (28° field) for more focused coverage. When you need a wider, still even wash, the included magnetic flood filter quickly expands the spread to a 24° beam (48° field). This makes it easy to adapt the same fixture for tight scenic punches or broader stage and facade coverage without changing hardware.

Weather-ready connectivity and flexible control

Designed for outdoor deployment, the fixture features IP-rated power and DMX connections for straightforward rigging in challenging conditions. Control options include W-DMX and RDM for streamlined setup, addressing, and remote monitoring within compatible systems.

Camera-friendly dimming and effects

For broadcast and IMAG work, adjustable PWM options (600 Hz to 25,000 Hz) help reduce flicker on camera. Selectable, smooth dimming curves minimize stepping in fades, and electronic shutter/strobe effects run from 0 to 27 Hz. Standalone color mixing, color temperature presets, and built-in automated programs provide quick looks when you need to run without a console.

Rigging and build

A rugged aluminum alloy and aluminum die-cast housing supports demanding production use, and the included omega bracket speeds truss or pipe mounting. The fixture offers a 0° to 150° tilt range and an easy-to-read OLED display with password protection and a touchscreen interface for confident on-site adjustments.
