The NEW TMB 25ft Proplex 3-Pin DMX Cable (Pkg of 2) is built for reliable DMX data runs in demanding production environments, including stage lighting, architectural installs, and touring rigs. Proplex series data cables are built to survive the toughest conditions, yet handle and coil well, again and again and again. They have been exhaustively developed, tested and re-tested.
Built for dependable DMX signal integrity
With 80 Ohm characteristic impedance and a low-capacitance design (22pf/ft conductor-to-conductor, 41pf/ft conductor-to-shield), this cable is engineered to help maintain stable data transmission over typical DMX chain lengths. A dual-shield construction combines an aluminum/mylar inner shield (100% coverage) with an 85% coverage tinned copper braid to reduce susceptibility to interference in electrically noisy venues.
Tour-ready construction that coils and handles well
Proplex uses 22 AWG tinned, annealed copper stranded conductors (19 x 34) with 200° C, 300 Volt FEP insulation. The cable core is pairs cabled with a Kevlar strength member, then protected by a black UV-resistant polyurethane jacket (high pressure extrusion) designed for repeated handling, coiling, and load-in/load-out use. Outside diameter is 0.215 in (5.46 mm) nominal, with a minimum bend radius of 1.3 in.
