Proplex series data cables are built to survive the toughest conditions, yet handle and coil well, again and again and again. They have been exhaustively developed, tested and re-tested.

Built for dependable DMX signal runs

These Proplex DMX cables use 22 AWG (0.34 mm2) tinned, annealed copper conductors (stranded 19 x 34) with FEP insulation rated to 200° C and 300V. The paired construction (black paired with white) is cabled with a Kevlar strength member to help the cable hold up to repeated setup, teardown, and coiling in production environments.

Shielding and jacket for real-world stages and installs

For noise resistance in busy electrical environments, the cable includes an inner aluminum/mylar shield with 100% coverage plus an outer tinned copper braid with 85% coverage. A black UV-resistant polyurethane jacket is high pressure extruded for toughness and flexibility, with 0.060 in (1.52 mm) nominal wall thickness, 550% elongation, and 5,000 psi tensile strength. Nominal outside diameter is 0.215 in (5.46 mm), with a minimum bend radius of 1.3 in.
