The Anchor Audio AN-1000X Powered Speaker is a compact powered monitor designed for clear, dependable audio monitoring in A/V racks, studios, and installed environments. The AN-1000X is a versatile powered monitor.  You can add it to an A/V rack setup, use it as a studio monitor, install it in a trade show booth, or place it in the Captain’s quarters on a US Navy warship to monitor activities in the intelligence room.

Practical I/O for Mixed Audio Setups

For flexible integration, the AN-1000X supports a balanced XLR mic/line input (configurable) and a Hi-Z unbalanced input via 1/4-inch phone and RCA, making it easy to connect microphones, mixers, playback devices, and other line-level sources. It also includes an RCA Lo-Z, buffer-isolated line-level output for feeding another device without directly loading the source signal.

Monitoring Power and Real-World Coverage

With 50 watts continuous at 4 ohms and a maximum SPL of 103 dB at 1 meter, the AN-1000X is well-suited for nearfield monitoring and speech-focused playback where intelligibility matters. Its 65 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response helps cover voice and program material with consistent tonal balance.

The AN-1000X supports worldwide AC power ranges (110 to 125Vac or 208 to 240Vac, 50/60 Hz, 90W max). An unswitched 1/4-inch phone speaker connection is provided for an 8-ohm speaker load. The enclosure measures 5.25 x 8.4 x 9 inches (13 x 21 x 23 cm) and weighs 9.5 lbs (3.3 kg), making it easy to place on a shelf, in a booth, or alongside rack and workstation gear.
