The Yamaha MSR400 Powered Speaker is built for performers, DJs, and small-to-mid live sound setups that need high output from a compact, road-ready cabinet. It uses a two-way, bi-amplified design that delivers a total of 400 watts to a 12-inch cone woofer and a 1.75-inch high-frequency horn driver, helping vocals and instruments stay clear while maintaining solid low-end punch.

Flexible Inputs for Mixers, Mics, and Instruments
The MSR400 provides three balanced input connectors, male and female XLR type connectors and a phone jack. All inputs are connected in parallel, which means you can feed the speaker from a mixer and also pass the signal along to another powered speaker or device using the remaining connector(s). The input level range is from –36 dB to +4 dB, allowing the MSR400 to accept output from your mixer as well as other sources such as microphones, synthesizers, or other electronic musical instrument.
Onboard Control and Protection Indication
The control section includes input level adjustment and a two-band equalizer so you can make fine adjustments for optimum matching with your input source. In addition to the green LED that lights when the power is turned on, there’s a peak LED that lights red when an input overload occurs, providing a clear visual cue so you can quickly back down gain and avoid distortion.
