The ART PB4X4 is a 1U rackmount power distribution system built to simplify powering and protecting multiple devices in a standard 19-inch equipment rack. With eight rear AC outlets and an all-steel chassis, it is well-suited for live sound/PA racks, fixed installs, DJ rigs, and home or project studio setups where clean, reliable power routing matters.

4x4 Outlet Layout for Wider Power Supplies

Unlike typical rack power strips, the PB4X4 uses a unique “4x4” rear outlet layout where four of the eight outlets are spaced 1.25 inches apart. This added spacing helps accommodate wide wall-wart power supplies and bulky plugs without blocking neighboring outlets, keeping your rack wiring cleaner and more usable.

Surge and Spike Protection, with Simple Front-Panel Control

Built into the 4x4 series is a surge and spike protection system designed to help protect connected equipment from common electrical surges and spikes found in venues and shared power environments. A brightly illuminated front-panel on/off switch provides easy access in a rack and quick visual confirmation that the unit is powered.

Power Capacity and Rack-Ready Build

The unit has a total power capacity of 1800 watts and includes a conveniently front-mounted 15A circuit breaker for quick resets when necessary. Its rugged, all-steel chassis occupies 1U of rack space, with overall dimensions of 1.75" x 19" x 6.5" (4.4 cm x 48.2 cm x 16.5 cm).
