Description
This ETC Element 40 Console shows signs of wear but is in good working condition. (2) Monitors, a mouse, and a keyboard are included with this console.
Element offers affordable lighting control for smaller venues with single-console operators or volunteer staffs. It is designed primarily for conventional lighting rigs, while still supporting some motorized accessories, LEDs, and a few moving lights. For hands-on control, it provides LTP channel and submaster faders that can be switched by mode, and it uses on-screen On Demand ML Controls for more complex devices. To help operators work quickly, Element displays command prompts on screen above the command line.
Control Surface and Workflow
With 40 faders (pageable as channel or submaster control) plus a master playback pair with 60 mm faders and dedicated Go and Stop/Back controls, the Element 40 supports a straightforward programming style that is easy to run during live events. User Definable Direct Selects and user configurable, interactive Magic Sheets help keep frequently used channels, cues, and looks close at hand.
Programming Tools for LED and Moving Light Use
Element includes Intensity, Focus, Color, and Beam palettes, along with stepped, relative, and absolute effects for building repeatable looks. For color workflows, it offers six color pickers plus a gel picker, supporting both LED and CMY color mixing.
Connectivity and Networking
This console supports ETCNet2, Net3/ACN, ArtNet, and Avab UDP output protocols, and it can integrate with distributed DMX, MIDI, SMPTE, and contact closure via Net3 Gateways. OSC and UDP transmit/receive are also supported for broader system integration and control.
Show File Compatibility
Show import is supported from Obsession, Express, Expression, Emphasis, Congo, Cobalt, Safari, Strand 500/300 Series, Grand MA1, and Grand MA2, which can simplify upgrades or console transitions when you need to reuse existing show data.
