Designed for demanding speaker loads, RMX amplifiers use high-current toroidal transformers to support strong output at low impedances while keeping noise down. Independent, user-defeatable clip limiters help reduce audible distortion when the system is pushed, and selectable low frequency filters (30 Hz or 50 Hz) can protect speakers from unwanted low-end energy while improving headroom in typical PA setups.
Flexible Inputs and Output Connectivity
For straightforward integration with mixers, processors, and DSP, the RMX1850HD includes balanced 1/4" (6.3 mm) TRS, XLR, and barrier strip inputs. On the speaker side, touch-proof binding posts and Neutrik Speakon outputs support common pro-audio cabling standards, making it easy to connect to a wide range of passive loudspeakers and system wiring.
Front-Panel Control and Status Monitoring
Front-mounted gain controls provide quick access for level matching, and signal/clip LEDs make it easy to monitor performance at a glance.
