The Strand SL Ellipsoidal, 36 Degree is a compact theatrical ellipsoidal (leko) designed for controlled, repeatable beam shaping in stage, studio, and architectural lighting. It delivers excellent light output with superb distribution and a smooth soft edge while maintaining beam size, making it a practical choice for front light, specials, and long-throw positions where clean shutter cuts and consistent focus matter.
Optics and Beam Control
A precision optical system pairs a high-efficiency dichroic glass reflector with coated, aspheric computer-designed lenses for bright output and crisp imaging. The fixture supports sharp gobo projection plus clean edge and shutter focus, and the wide gate accommodates common accessories such as two gobo holders, a glass gobo holder, a drop-in iris, or a rotating goboholder.
Efficiency and Thermal Management
Optimised for energy efficient, high performance GKV 600W lamps, it consumes significantly less energy while providing more light than most conventional 1000W/1200W spotlights.
