The Elation Artiste Van Gogh is a compact, powerful framing wash fixture designed to deliver smooth, even coverage with outstanding light quality. It is an ideal partner to the Profile fixtures in Elation’s Artiste fixture range, making it a strong choice for rigs that need a matching wash and profile system.

High-output LED wash performance for broadcast and live production

Providing up to 16,000 total lumens from its efficient 380W 6,500K LED engine, the Artiste Van Gogh can handle everything from tight key and texture work to broad stage washes. With a high CRI of 91 and whisper-quiet operation, it is ideally suited for Television, Theater and Corporate Events, or any application where powerful and even coverage is desired. Illuminating objects and people with precise color reproduction is the perfect application for the Artiste Van Gogh.

Color control and beam shaping built for designers

A 16-bit CMY color system with a seamless CTO filter provides a wide color range from subtle pastels to vibrant primaries, while a seven position fixed color wheel adds additional looks, including a dedicated UV filter. For shaping and controlling spill, the fixture includes an internal indexable barn door system with four independent barn doors and barn door index adjustment, allowing beam shaping and light control at virtually any angle. A seamless frost filter is included for softening and blending washes, plus remote focus adjustment, electronic strobe, variable dimming curves, and 16-bit dimming for smooth fades on camera and on stage.

Lens flexibility, zoom range, and control protocols

Interchangeable PC and Fresnel lens options are included to adapt the fixture to different throw distances and coverage needs. With the Fresnel lens, zoom range is 11° to 66° (beam angle 7.5° to 45.2°, field angle 16.5° to 68.2°). With the PC lens, zoom range is 7° to 55° (beam angle 5.6° to 43.2°, field angle 7.1° to 58°). Motorized zoom makes it fast to adjust focus and coverage during setup or live cueing.

For integration into modern lighting networks, the Artiste Van Gogh supports DMX and RDM, plus Art-Net and sACN, with two DMX channel modes (22 / 36 channels) and a DMX adjustable refresh rate (900 to 25,000 Hz). Connections include locking 5-pin XLR DMX, RJ45 Ethernet, and Power, plus a USB connection for firmware updates. A (6) button touch panel and full color 180° reversible LCD menu display simplify navigation whether the fixture is floor-based, truss-mounted, or hung in tight spaces.
