Elation Artiste Mondrian

These units are Elation B-Stock and come with a 1 year manufacturer warranty.  All fixtures are cleaned and tested before leaving the building.

The Elation Artiste Mondrian is a bright, full-featured LED profile FX fixture built for applications that demand high center intensity, tight beam control, and a wide color-mixing range, from precise theatrical looks to saturated concert color.

Providing up to 51,000 lumens from its efficient 950W 6,500K LED engine, the Mondrian is well-suited to stages, broadcast environments, houses of worship, and touring rigs where superior output, powerful narrow beams, quiet operation, and repeatable results matter. Its variable SpectraColor engine delivers traditional CMY mixing and adds a variable RGB mix for rich, saturated primaries. Combined with variable CTO, it supports nuanced palette control, from subtle pastels to bold reds and blues. Seven color-mixing flags with 16-bit precision expand the Artiste Mondrian’s color gamut for more refined, repeatable color choices, while the fixed color wheel adds UV and high CRI options to round out its range.

Optics, Zoom, and Beam Control

The Mondrian covers narrow beams through wide washes with a 3.3° to 45° motorized zoom and a large 226mm (8 3/4") clear plano convex (PC) lens. Motorized focus and auto-focus presets help keep patterns and edges crisp across changing throws and zoom positions.

Framing and Effects System

For shaping and texture, Mondrian includes a full blackout framing system with 4 rotating framing blades, plus 360° continuous framing index and rotation for fast, accurate alignment on set or in the air. A complete FX package adds 2 rotating gobo wheels, a bi-directional animation wheel (full 360°), dual prisms, dual variable frost (light and wash), and a motorized iris with variable pulse effects. Internal macros for color, framing, prism, and frost speed up programming and make it easier to build consistent looks across multiple fixtures.

Control, Networking, and Dimming Performance

The Artiste Mondrian supports DMX and RDM, plus Art-NET and sACN for networked lighting systems. It offers 2 DMX channel modes (42 and 68) with 16-bit pan, tilt, and dimming control, variable 16-bit dimming curve modes, and a high speed electronic shutter and strobe. A DMX controllable LED refresh rate helps optimize performance for camera work. Onboard setup is handled through a (6) button touch control panel with a full color 180° reversible LCD menu display, and a hibernation mode supports power-saving workflows.

Connectivity and Physical Specs

Locking 5pin XLR DMX, RJ45 Ethernet, and power connections help keep runs secure in permanent installs and touring conditions. A USB connection supports firmware updates with wired digital communication network. Fixture dimensions are 18.55 in. (472mm) long, 26.5 in. (673mm) wide, and 34.2 in. (870mm) high, with a weight of 104.7 lbs. (47.5kg).
