High-Output Wash and Beam Performance

At the core of MAC Aura Raven XIP is an industry-leading light engine delivering 27,000 lumens and a high-intensity beam through its massive 343 mm (13.5 in) front lens. A significantly enhanced belt-driven zoom system provides extremely fast, near-silent operation with a wide 6 to 51 degree zoom range, making it practical for tight beams, broad washes, and quick transitions in quiet environments.

RGBL Color Quality and On-Camera Results

The fixture uses an RGBL (Red, Green, Blue, Lime) LED engine to improve skin tones and overall light quality (CRI, TM-30, TLCI), which is especially useful for theater, television, and corporate environments where color rendering matters. It also includes a dark lens for a more discreet appearance and higher visual contrast from the Aura effects when the fixture is idle or used in scenic spaces.

With full pixel control over 37 main LEDs and the Aura backlight LEDs, the fixture supports detailed looks ranging from subtle glow to mapped, animated effects.

For integration into modern lighting and media workflows, MAC Aura Raven XIP supports DMX, Art-Net, sACN, and Martin P3 control. Martin’s P3 control can simplify setup, configuration, and mapping and mixing of DMX with video, which is helpful when the fixture is part of a pixel-mapped rig or hybrid lighting and video system.

XIP Smart Weatherproof Design and Service-Friendly Setup

MAC Aura Raven XIP features XIP smart weatherproof technology for temporary outdoor use, providing added flexibility for festivals, concerts, and touring situations where conditions can change. Practical touches include a battery-powered display for configuration without mains power, an NFC interface supporting configuration and diagnostics via the Companion Mobile App, and a Universal Connect Module slot to support third-party wireless modules. Yoke handles improve handling, including easier upside-down flipping during prep and rigging.
