ROBE ROBIN DL4S Profile

The ROBE Robin DL4S Profile is an RGBW LED moving head profile fixture designed for polished corporate, broadcast, and special event lighting where smooth fades, accurate color, and repeatable framing are essential. With a 480 W RGBW LED engine and an advanced LED driving system, it delivers extremely high definition dimming curves across all colors with 18-bit resolution, helping you achieve clean camera-friendly transitions and refined looks on faces, scenery, and scenic textures.

These ROBE Robin DL4S Profile LED moving lights were used for corporate and special events. They show signs of wear and tear, but are in good working condition. A dual road case is included with a purchase of 2 units.

Smooth Dimming, Rich Color, and Tunable Whites

To magnify the already perfectly smooth colours, fades and dimming, the DL4S features innovative LED driving system for improved, extremely high definition dimming curve for all R, G, B, W colours, with 18 bit resolution. The enhanced Robe RGBW LED light source reproduces both rich and pastel colours at output levels normally associated with 1200 W discharge fixtures as well as pure whites at preselected 2700, 3200, 4200, 5600 and 8000 kelvin colour temperatures. The tungsten emulation function allows the fixture to be integrated seamlessly into lighting schemes with existing traditional lanterns.

Precision Framing and Beam Shaping

The DL4S adds a system of 4 fast, smooth, framing shutters within the optical path design of the proven DLS Profile format. There is individual control of each shutter blade position and angle, together with rotation of the complete framing module. As well as providing a sharp precise or soft frame for the projected image, the system produces a new series of effects through pre-programmed shutter blade shape and movement sequences. As with all models in the Robe DL luminaire range, the multiple shadows normally associated with an LED source have been eliminated.

Gobos, Effects, and Optics for Versatile Programming

For texture and mid-air looks, the fixture includes both a static gobo wheel with 9 replaceable “SLOT&LOCK” gobos (8 metal plus one glass) and a rotating gobo wheel with 7 rotating, indexable, replaceable “SLOT&LOCK” glass gobos plus open. A motorized, stepless iris supports pulse effects up to 3 Hz, and a rotating 3-facet 11 degree prism adds movement and beam multiplication. Beam shaping is further supported by a separate variable frost effect, plus motorized zoom from 10 degrees (gobo position) to 45 degrees (free hole) and motorized focus for crisp projections at a wide range of throws.

Movement and Service Life

The ROBE Robin DL4S Profile provides 540 degrees of pan and 280 degrees of tilt for flexible rigging positions and efficient stage coverage. The LED engine is rated for a life expectancy of 20,000 hours.
