The ROBE ROBIN DL4X Spot is a RGBW LED moving head spot fixture built for polished event lighting where clean color mixing, smooth fades, and precise aerial and texture looks matter. Its updated LED module and optical system are designed to deliver rich, even color with a high-quality beam and no distracting shadows, making it a strong fit for corporate stages, special events, and production environments that need consistent output across cues.

Color, Dimming, and Output Control

Improved, brighter version of the ROBE RGBW LED module allows the DL4X Spot fixture to utilize the specifically modified colour mixing and dimming for extra smooth, stepless operation especially at minimum brightness levels while giving colour outputs brighter than a 1200 Watt discharge unit, but with an average very eco-friendly power consumption of only 250 Watts.

To magnify the already perfectly smooth colours, fades and dimming, the DL4X features innovative LED driving system for improved, extremely high definition dimming curve for all R, G, B, W colours, with 18 bit resolution. The optical system produces a very smooth, high quality light output of rich, beautiful colours with no shadows and utilizes a versatile zoom of 10 to 45 degrees.

Beam Shaping and Effects for Event Looks

For fast variety between clean projections and dynamic mid-air effects, the DL4X Spot includes a static gobo wheel with 9 replaceable “SLOT&LOCK” gobos (8 metal plus one glass) and a rotating gobo wheel with 7 rotating, indexable, replaceable “SLOT&LOCK” glass gobos plus open. A motorized, stepless iris supports pulse effects up to 3 Hz, and the rotating 3-facet, 11 degree prism expands the beam for wider coverage and layered looks. A separate, variable frost effect helps soften edges for smoother transitions and more diffuse textures.

Positioning, Focus, and Reliability

Motorized focus and zoom make it easy to keep gobos crisp across throw distances, while the fixture’s movement range (540 degree pan and 280 degree tilt) supports flexible rigging positions and broad stage coverage. The light source is a 480 W RGBW LED engine with a stated life expectancy of 20,000 hours.
