Martin MAC Ultra Performance

The Martin MAC Ultra Performance is an extremely bright LED framing moving head built for large-scale concerts, touring, broadcast, and theater applications where high output, precise beam control, and low noise operation matter. Based on Martin’s 1150 W, 6000 K proprietary LED light engine, it delivers up to 46,500 lumens in projection, with high resolution dimming, strobing, and Martin’s unique Animotion effect.

These units are Martin B-Stock and come with a 1-year manufacturer warranty.  All fixtures are cleaned and tested before leaving the building.

High-Output LED Engine for Large Venues

The fixture uses an 84 x 20 W white LED array with a minimum LED lifetime of > 50,000 hours. The light engine is rated at 90,000 lumens, while fixture luminous output is specified at 46,500 lumens, with peak luminous intensity up to 3,000,000 cd. Nominal CCT is 5800 K (+/- 250 K), making it well suited to punch through ambient light for arena and outdoor stages.

Optics, Zoom, and Image Control

A 160 mm front lens and high resolution projection system support sharp imaging across a 1:7 zoom range (8.0° to 54° field angle). Precision focus includes auto tracking, helping maintain consistency as zoom and framing change during cues.

Color, Gobo, and Effects Package

For looks that translate across camera and audience sightlines, the MAC Ultra Performance provides CMY color mixing, variable color temperature control (5800 to 2850 K), and a color wheel with 6 interchangeable dichroic filters, including a Spectral Enhancement Filter. Two rotating gobo wheels (each with 5 interchangeable gobos plus open) pair with a full function animation wheel (indexing and continuous rotation with variable angle) for texture and motion. Additional effects include frost (fade in), a 4-facet prism, iris, and responsive zoom and focus control.

Framing, Movement, and Pixel Mapping

Martin’s Extended Framing module provides individual blade control of +/- 30° across the entire beam, plus +/- 83° rotation for flexible shaping on scenery, screens, and stage architecture. Pan and tilt are specified at 540° and 268° for wide coverage and accurate repositioning. For segmented control workflows, P3 videomapping of fixture color and/or intensity is available across 10 segments, alongside two ranges of pre-programmed FX.

Low-Noise Operation and Practical Deployment

A low noise cooling system and user-selectable output versus sound level control help tailor performance for noise-sensitive environments such as broadcast studios and theater. The minimum recommended center-to-center distance for side-by-side installation is 830 mm (32.7 in.). Physical dimensions include a maximum height of 876 mm (34.5 in.) and weight of 44.0 kg (97.0 lbs.).
