The NEW Chauvet DJ Obey 10 is a compact, universal DMX lighting controller designed to manage the day-to-day programming needs of modern intelligent fixtures. It can control up to 8 fixtures with up to 16 channels each, making it a practical choice for DJs, small venues, mobile rigs, and installations that need reliable hands-on control without bringing a computer to the show.

Hands-On Control for Intelligent Fixtures

Built to handle the complexities of today’s lighting fixtures, the Obey 10 provides 128 channels of DMX control and the flexibility to adapt to different fixture personalities. CHAUVET included the ability to reverse sliders and re-assign channels as needed, which can streamline operation when you need your faders to match your workflow.

Chases, Scenes, and On-the-Fly Operation

The Obey 10 can store 6 sets of chases containing up to 999 scenes each, helping you build repeatable looks for different songs, sets, or events. It also supports sequential linking of chases for longer, more involved cue sequences. When plans change mid-show, you can grab any fixture on the fly, then set your fixture’s movements to be beat activated (sound-activated) or run automatically without constant input from the operator.

Rack-Friendly DMX Hardware

For permanent installs or road racks, the controller conveniently mounts in a double space (2U rackmount). Connectivity and power are straightforward for typical DMX systems, with 3-pin XLR DMX connectors and a 9 VDC, 500 mA external power supply (100 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz).
