The Pathway DMX Repeater series of opto-splitters are an essential component of DMX distribution systems, permitting star-wiring configurations while isolating and protecting equipment from electrical faults. With eight bi-directional DMX512 ports, the PWREP makes it easier to build clean, dependable DMX runs to multiple locations while reducing the risk that a wiring or voltage issue on one line takes down the rest of the system.

RDM Hub Control on a Pure DMX512 Network

RDM Hub models provide Ethernet-type intelligence features on a pure DMX512 network. The front panel allows the unit to be used as an RDM controller, enabling RDM Discovery and end device management directly at the rack. RDM can be enabled or disabled on a port-by-port basis, letting you keep legacy fixtures stable while still managing RDM-capable devices where it is helpful.

Operating Modes for Real-World Console and System Workflows

This PWREP supports three modes, RDM, Merge, and Hub, and is fully configurable from the front panel interface. In Merge mode, you can merge two controllers without additional equipment and use priority/HTP behaviors to match the needs of the system. It also supports simple console location changes by automatically switching a console between locations when you unplug and replug the console.
