RDM Hub models add Ethernet-type intelligence features on a pure DMX512 network. The front panel allows the unit to be used as an RDM controller, supporting RDM discovery and end device management without needing additional hardware at the rig.

Flexible routing modes for real-world DMX workflows

Each of the 8 bi-directional DMX512 ports can be used in one of three modes (RDM, Merge, and Hub). Configuration is handled directly from the front panel interface, including the ability to enable or disable RDM on a port-by-port basis. Merge functionality supports combining two controllers without additional equipment, and the unit can automatically switch a console between locations by simply unplugging and replugging the console (useful for swapping between primary and backup positions).

For dependable output behavior across different fixture types and cable runs, the PWREP provides user-configurable DMX output speed and signal loss behavior.
