The Luminex GigaCore 10 (Neutrik QUAD SMF) is a versatile Gigabit Ethernet switch built for touring and live events, where reliable stage networking and fast setup matter. This half 19-inch unit offers both front and rear connectivity, making it easy to mount in a truss, in a rack, or on a wall. The robust metal enclosure is well suited to truss-mounted applications with Ethernet-enabled devices such as moving lights, PA systems, microphones, cameras, or general stage connectivity.
Tour-Ready Switching with Redundancy
Designed for switching flexibility and redundancy, the GigaCore 10 supports RLinkX link redundancy for resilient network paths, plus MultiLinkX link aggregation when you need more bandwidth or added fault tolerance between devices. VLAN-style segmentation is available via Groups, helping keep lighting, audio, and control traffic organized on the same physical network. A built-in Profile manager helps speed configuration and repeatable deployments across shows.
Optimized for Pro Audio, Lighting, and AV Protocols
With sound protocol compliance (low jitter) and broad interoperability, the GigaCore 10 supports Avnu AVB/MILAN, Dante, RAVENNA/AES67, Ethersound, Q-SYS/Q-LAN, REAC, sACN, ArtNet, MA-Net2, HogNet, RTTrPL (BlackTraX), plus IEEE 802.1p CoS and DiffServ (DSCP) for traffic prioritization. It also supports IEEE 1588 PTP v2 timing and provides IGMP support (V1/V2/V3) with IGMP snooping enabled by default to help manage multicast traffic common in AV networks.
Performance and Connectivity Details
Eight shielded Neutrik Ethercon connectors provide secure Ethernet connectivity at 1Gbps per port, with 20Gbps switching throughput, an 8192-entry MAC address table, and self-learning with auto aging. The switch supports jumbo frames (MTU up to 9600) and includes auto-negotiation, MDI/MDIX auto crossover, and full/half-duplex auto-sensing (Gigabit is full duplex). Ethernet compliance includes IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3x flow control, and 802.3ab Gigabit Ethernet. PoE (802.3af) and PoE+ are optional.
