ETC’s Selador Desire D22 luminaire puts the x7 Color System into a compact, round LED washlight for stage, studio, and architectural applications where vibrant color and high intensity are required. Highly efficient primary lenses and carefully selected colors help deliver consistent output in a small footprint, while the rugged die-cast, all-metal enclosure and noiseless, fan-free operation make it well suited for quiet venues and demanding installs.

Full-Range Color with the Lustr+ Array

The D22 Lustr+ uses an optimized LED array with six colors plus high-intensity white LEDs to create an ideal wash fixture for full-range color. The calibrated array supports predictable color mixing and matching, with red shift available for refined tuning when needed. The fixture’s color temperature range of 2,700 to 6,500 K makes it practical for everything from warm stage washes to cleaner, camera-friendly whites.

Optics and Output for Tight or Wide Washes

With an adjustable beam angle range of 8° to 71° and a 6 in aperture, the D22 can be configured for punchy, narrow looks or broad, even coverage depending on lensing. Output is rated up to 1,658 lumens (31.5 lm/W), with measured illuminance up to 434 fc (4,672 lux) at 3 m (10 ft), helping it stand up as a compact washlight in a variety of throw distances.

Built for Professional Control and Long Service Life

For broadcast and recording environments, the D22 includes camera flicker control with a 900 to 25,000 Hz range. Long-term maintenance demands are reduced with an L70 rating of 50,000 hours (to 70% output). The fixture uses 22 Lumileds LUXEON Rebel LEDs and is built in a die-cast, all-metal housing, weighing 3.13 kg (6.9 lb).
