The Elation Power Spot 250 is a professional-grade 250W moving head spot designed for concerts, clubs, mobile DJs, and event production where fast movement, punchy beam output, and flexible programming matter. With a 15º beam angle and high-speed movement (up to 530º pan in 3.0 seconds and 270º tilt in 1.1 seconds), it delivers quick position changes and tight, defined looks on stage or the dance floor.

DMX Control and Standalone Operation

Built for standard lighting workflows, the fixture supports USITT DMX-512 with 16-bit resolution across 15 DMX channels for smooth, precise pan and tilt control. It also includes preprogrammed movements via DMX, plus self test and stand alone settings for simple setups. A 4-digit digital LED display makes addressing and mode changes straightforward.

Effects, Color, and Gobo Tools

For creating movement and texture, the Power Spot 250 includes indexable gobos along with continuous color scroll and continuous gobo scroll, letting you build dynamic sweeps and transitions during cues. Position correction helps the light return accurately to programmed points, which is especially useful for repeatable show looks.

Connectivity and Built-In Sound Response

3-pin XLR serial input/output supports daisy-chaining in DMX rigs. For sound-activated operation, the unit includes a built-in microphone with a sensitivity knob, useful for quick, music-driven effects without a controller. The fixture also includes a 4.9mW red laser as part of its onboard effects set.
