The MA Lighting grandMA2 Light is a powerful lighting control console built for programming and playback across conventional fixtures, moving lights, LEDs, and integrated video and media. Designed for fast, intuitive operation in live and broadcast environments, it supports deep show-building with extensive cueing and playback options, making it well suited for touring rigs, installed venues, and production houses that need a capable desk with room to grow.

Flexible Control for Mixed Fixture Rigs

The grandMA2 Light is engineered to manage complex, multi-genre shows from a single surface, with an architecture that supports an almost infinite number of presets, cues, pages, sequences, and effects. For systems that expand over time, it provides real-time control for up to 65,536 parameters per session in connection with MA NPU (equivalent to 256 DMX universes), plus 4,096 HTP-/LTP parameters for hands-on control and playback. It is ideally suited as a backup device for the grandMA2 full-size. 

Hands-On Playback and Programming Surface

For quick access during rehearsals and live operation, the desk includes 15 motorized executor faders, 2 motorized A/B fader (100mm), and individually backlit, dimmable silent (clickless) keys. An integrated keyboard drawer helps keep programming efficient without adding external peripherals.

Displays, Connectivity, and I/O

Visual feedback and workspace are supported by 2 internal TFT wide mode touchscreens (15.4" WXGA) and 1 internal command screen, multi-touch (9" SVGA). For larger programming layouts, 2 external TFT screens can be connected (UXGA, touchscreens accepted). On the connectivity side, the console provides 6 DMX outputs, 2 Ethercon connectors, and 5 USB 2.0 connectors to integrate cleanly into a typical show network and peripheral setup.

Built for Production Use

A built-in uninterruptible power supply (UPS) helps protect the session against brief power interruptions, and a motorized monitor wing supports ergonomic setup at FOH or in a control room. Console dimensions are 36.8" x 25.7" x 8", and weight is 81.6 lbs.
