With output built for long throws and large venues (including stadium-scale applications), it combines smooth color control, wide zoom flexibility, and beam-shaping features that let you transition from broad stage coverage to tighter, more defined looks without changing fixtures.
Color Mixing and Wash Looks
A variable CMY + CTO color mixing system delivers a wide palette of saturated and nuanced tones, while an independent color wheel adds CRI and CTB filters for fine-tuning on-camera color, cleaner whites, and cooler color temperature options. Calibrated to match the colors of other Storm fixtures in the rig, the SoloWash is well-suited for consistent color across multi-fixture setups, indoors or out.
Optics and Beam Control
The expansive 9.5:1 zoom covers a 7.1° to 74.1° range, making it easy to adapt to trim height changes, varying throw distances, and different stage sizes. For shaping and texture, it includes a 4-blade framing shutter system with rotation, plus an iris, frost, and animation wheel for controlled beam edges, softened washes, and kinetic effects.

A rotating, indexing gobo wheel uses interchangeable slot and lock geometric gobos for adding movement and pattern, while the animation wheel supports evolving textures that can fill a wash with subtle motion or build more dramatic scenic looks.
