Chauvet Professional COLORado Batten Q15

COLORado Batten Q15 is a rugged, tour-ready, quad-color RGBW LED batten with 15 individually controllable LEDs that eliminate the appearance of “skittles” and allow for awesome pixel-mappable looks. The IP65-rated unit features tremendous output with selectable, smooth dimming curves, convenient color temperature presets and an extraordinary reach with a native 16° beam angle.

Designed for touring, live events, television, and theatrical applications, the COLORado Batten Q15 is built to hold up in demanding environments while staying easy to deploy. IP65-rated power and 5-pin DMX connections support all-environment operation, and the unique end-cap and back plate mounting options help you rig the fixture cleanly in a wide range of positions, whether you are lining truss, building scenic accents, or creating continuous linear looks.

Pixel-ready RGBW color with useful whites

The fixture uses 15 quad-color RGBW LEDs (20 W each) for saturated color mixes and cleaner pastel tones than RGB-only systems. Color temperature presets from 1800 K to 8000 K make it easier to match practicals, camera looks, or adjacent fixtures without time-consuming manual dialing, which is especially helpful for broadcast and theatrical cueing.

Optics and output for punchy, controllable looks

With installed optics, the beam is tightly controlled (15.5° horizontal and 14.7° vertical), with a 28.6° by 28.1° field angle for defined, high-impact applications. With the included filter, the fixture widens significantly (41.9° horizontal beam, 15.3° vertical beam; 77.9° horizontal field, 32.1° vertical field) when you need broader coverage or softer blending across a surface. Output is rated at 6,324 lumens (5,547 lumens with filter), with total illuminance of 2,399 lux at 5 m (653 lux at 5 m with filter).

Camera-friendly dimming and effects control

Selectable PWM options (1,200 Hz to 25,000 Hz) help reduce on-camera flicker across different shutter speeds and frame rates. Electronic dimming with five dim modes provides programming flexibility, and electronic shutter/strobe offers 0 to 25 Hz effects when needed. Built-in automated programs, customizable programs, and recallable custom looks support standalone operation when you want quick results without a full console workflow.

Tour-grade hardware and protected access

A large, easy-to-navigate display with password protection supports confident setup in shared production environments. The aluminum alloy housing is finished in black, and the fixture includes Seetronic Powerkon IP65 power input and output plus 5-pin IP65 XLR data connectors. The unit measures 41.22 x 7.28 x 6.55 in (1047 x 185 x 166.4 mm) and weighs 28.8 lb (13 kg). Supplied power cable length is 5 ft (1.5 m).
