Description
Lightware MX8x8DVI-HDCP-Pro is an advanced 8x8 DVI matrix router built for professional AV distribution, letting you route any DVI/HDMI source to any display (or multiple displays) with no switching delay or frame latency. Designed for high-end home theatre and pro AV environments, it supports DVI, HDMI, and HDCP signals in a single integrated workflow.

MX8x8DVI-HDCP-Pro digital video router is an advanced DVI router that supports DVI 1.0 HDCP 1.3 and even HDMI 1.3 deep colour standards. Supporting the latest HDMI 1.3 36 bit deep colour standard, it can be connected even to the latest BluRay players, set top boxes or AV receivers or Apple TV.
Signal integrity and long-cable performance
This high performancing routing switcher offers 8 inputs and 8 outputs with 29 pole screw lockable DVI-I connectors (only digital pins are connected). All inputs are equalized and reclocked for up to 60 meter long DVI copper cable, and all outputs of the matrix router are reclocked for stable, jitter free signal transmission. This helps maintain a consistent picture in racks, classrooms, control rooms, or other installs where sources and displays are separated by distance.
Audio, EDID, and output control for system compatibility
Advanced HD audio transmission and sample rate conversion proves the compatibility with previous generation products whilst handling the finest Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD formats as well. Per-output processing includes color space conversion (RGB and YUV) and color range scaling, plus Advanced EDID Management (50 factory presets and 50 user programmable, 256 Byte extended EDID v1.3 emulation) to help sources lock reliably to the display requirements in multi-display systems.
Control options for integration
The unit can be controlled either by RS-232/RS-422 port or TCP/IP LAN connection or by built-in website. Front-panel buttons and an LCD menu provide local control when commissioning or troubleshooting.
