The Folsom ImagePRO is a powerful all-in-one signal processor that accepts a wide range of video input signals and process them into a number of different signal formats to meet the video requirements of virtually any application. It is well-suited for live events, rental and staging, fixed AV installations, and broadcast environments where reliable conversion, scaling, and aspect control are required between computer and video sources.
Signal Inputs and Output Flexibility
This Barco ImagePRO-HD Processor is built to sit between your sources and display or distribution gear, providing broad I/O options for mixing legacy and modern formats. It includes DVI-I input with loop-through and HDSDI input. Three universal inputs accept RGBHV/RGBS/RGsB computer video, component video (SD or HDTV), s-video, or composite video, with loopthrough support for streamlined signal routing.
Outputs include 2x RGB or component video, composite video, s-video, DVI-D, and HDSDI, making it a practical choice for feeding projectors, switchers, recorders, or distribution amplifiers without changing your source workflow.
Processing and Image Control
For day-to-day show operation and content cleanup, the ImagePRO-HD provides user-defined aspect ratio conversion and adjustments, pan and zoom, and freeze. It supports 10-bit processing to help maintain smoother gradations when scaling and converting signals.
De-interlacing options include Motion Adaptive and Field to Frame modes, with 3:2 pulldown detection for NTSC and 2:2 film detection for PAL sources. It also decodes NTSC, PAL, and SECAM, and can encode NTSC and PAL for compatibility with standard-definition workflows.
Integration, Control, and Presets
Ethernet enables real-time control for integration into larger AV control environments. Genlock, H/V Lock, and VLock are provided for synchronization when timing and stable output are important. Executive mode protects system configuration settings during use, and 64 independent memory presets help operators quickly recall settings for different inputs, resolutions, or venues.
