Built for hands-on playback control in live and programmed environments, the Road Hog Playback Wing pairs a 12" touchscreen monitor with dedicated, console-style hardware controls and DMX output capability (with optional Super Widget installed). It is designed to sit comfortably next to a console for expanded playback access, or to serve as a tactile control surface in a Hog 3PC workflow.
Playback Control Designed for Live Use
The wing provides full Wholehog playback masters identical to those found on the console, giving operators fast, consistent control when running cues, looks, and busking playbacks. You get 10 masters, each with Choose, Go, Halt, and Flash buttons, plus a Penny & Giles fader for smooth, reliable level control. Dedicated buttons for Next Page, Assert, Release, Skip Forward, Skip Backward, and Pig streamline common show actions without relying on mouse or keyboard.
Compatible Systems and Connectivity
Multiple playback wings can be connected to Wholehog software for larger playback layouts. Connection is via USB to a Hog 3PC computer, Road Hog Full Boar, Hog iPC, or Wholehog 3 console. The integrated touchscreen controls use a VGA connection for the 12" touchscreen display.
DMX Expansion and Visual Feedback
A Super Widget Expansion slot supports adding four DMX outputs from PC-based products when the optional Super Widget is installed. For visibility in dark venues, the bi-color LEDs and LED desklight are software-dimmable, and the wing includes blue LED side marker lights along with status LEDs for power, data, and expansion.
