The Altman Single Cell Ground Cyc is a multi-lamp, compartmented luminaire designed to provide an even wash of light on cycloramas from a ground row position. Compartmented cells support clean color separation, making it a practical choice for stage and theatrical cyc lighting where consistent coverage and controllable color are important.

Optics and Coverage

Typically, each compartment provides an asymmetrical distribution with a 50 beam angle, 70 field angle horizontally and a 65 beam angle, 83 field angle vertically. Lamps are on nine inch centers, helping maintain uniform spacing for smooth cyc coverage across the row.

Construction and On-Stage Practicality

Built with die-cast and sheet steel construction, this Ground Cyc includes porcelain recessed single contacts on 9" centers and spring loaded color frame retainers for straightforward gel handling during changeovers. It is U.L. and c.U.L. listed for 1000 watt lamps and made in the USA.

System Flexibility

The luminaire is available in one lamp through twelve lamp configurations with single to twelve circuit wiring, allowing designers to match the Ground Cyc layout and control needs of a given cyclorama or ground row setup.
