The Martin MAC Viper Wash DX is a full-range moving head wash luminaire built for professional stage, touring, broadcast, and event lighting where output, color consistency, and fast looks matter. It delivers 33,000 lumens with a flat, uniform field, and maintains near full efficiency throughout the entire zoom range with no visible beam jump when zooming from tight to wide.
Color, CCT Control, and Beam Shaping
For flexible palette building on cues and camera, CMY color mixing provides vibrant, repeatable color with strong saturation (including true reds, rich ambers, primary green, and deep blues). A linear CTO system allows smooth daylight-to-tungsten CCT control and expands the CMY palette for more natural whites and warmer tones. The integrated iris enables tight beam control and dynamic effects, while the internal barndoor system (shutters) helps keep spill off scenic elements and sightlines when you need a cleaner wash edge.
Zoom and Effects for Live Cueing
A fast, continuous 1:5 zoom range (13.5 to 59) makes it practical to cover everything from tight, punchy looks to wide stage washes without changing fixtures. The combined dimmer/shutter system supports instant blackout/open, smooth fades, and a variety of strobe effects for rhythmic accents and intensity chases.
