The Extron DTP HDMI 4K 230 Rx is a digital twisted pair receiver designed to work with Extron DTP-enabled products to extend HDMI, audio, and bidirectional RS-232 and IR control signals up to 230 feet (70 meters) over a shielded CATx cable. It provides an economical and effective way to place a display farther from the source device while maintaining a clean, reliable single-cable run, making it well-suited for classrooms, conference rooms, lecterns, and behind-display installations.
Supporting video resolutions up to 4K, the receiver is built for modern presentation and signage workflows. Supported HDMI specification features include data rates up to 10.2 Gbps, Deep Color up to 12-bit, 3D, HD lossless audio formats, and CEC pass-through. The DTP HDMI 4K 230 Rx is also HDCP 2.3 compliant for protected content playback when used in a compatible signal chain.
In addition to HDMI with embedded multi-channel audio, the DTP HDMI 4K 230 Rx can accept analog stereo audio signals from a DTP-enabled product over the same shielded twisted pair cable, simplifying integration when you need separate analog audio at the display end. The compact enclosure and remote power capability support discreet placement wherever it best meets the installation requirements.
Cabling and System Compatibility
For optimal performance, Extron XTP DTP 24 shielded twisted pair cable is strongly recommended. The unit is compatible with CATx shielded twisted pair cable and is intended for use as part of an Extron DTP extension system.
