The Barco PDS-902 3G is a seamless presentation switcher built for fast, reliable source switching in live events and installed AV environments. Designed for straightforward setup and operation, it is a practical fit for boardrooms, hotel ballrooms, houses of worship, education and training facilities and fixed installations where you need clean transitions and dependable signal management.
Inputs Built for Mixed AV Setups
The PDS-902 3G provides 9 fixed inputs, making it easy to combine computers, media players, and legacy analog sources in a single system. It includes four DVI-I inputs (supporting both analog and DVI) with full HDCP 1.0 support, plus one 3G/HD/SD-SDI input and four universal analog inputs via HD-15 (VGA). All analog and DVI inputs support the EDID 1.3 specification, helping you maintain stable handshakes and predictable output behavior when connecting a variety of devices.
Seamless Switching, PIP, and Still Image Support
For presentations and program feeds, the unit supports full-screen mixing transitions and can be configured with 1 mixer or 2 PIPs for flexible layouts. Users can capture and store up to three still images, which can be used as a LOGO source during the presentation.
Output and Monitoring Options
Outputs are designed to support both operator confidence monitoring and a clean program feed. The PDS-902 3G includes DVI Preview and Program outputs, VGA (HD-15) Preview and Program outputs, and a 3G-SDI Program output (Program only). It provides one Program output via HD-15, DVI or 3G-SDI, plus one Preview/Matrix output. The multiviewer uses a single Preview output that shows the next source, and the Preview output becomes the program output in Matrix mode.
Network Control for Quick Setup and Operation
Control is available via Ethernet (RJ-45, 10/100 Mbps autosense), allowing operation from a computer, tablet, or smartphone through a web browser. Control functions include source input configuration, output format selection, test pattern selection, transition effect selection and control.
Rack-Friendly Form Factor
Built for installed and mobile racks, the PDS-902 3G is 1 RU rackmount (4.4 cm / 1.75 in) with a 19-inch width (48.26 cm), 14.25-inch depth (36.2 cm), and a weight of 5.67 kg (12.5 lbs).
