The NEW Dracast X Series LED500 Bi-Color LED Video Light Panel is a compact, portable LED panel designed for on-location and studio video lighting. Weighing just 3.0 lbs, it is easy to pack, rig, and reposition, while still delivering adjustable white light from 3200K to 5600K CCT for matching tungsten, daylight, or mixed lighting environments.

Compact Panel Design for Fast, Flexible Setup

The X Series is built around a clean, efficient optical system with 256 SMD LED chips in a 16 x 16 arrangement and an 8 x 8 in (203 x 203 mm) light aperture. A 45-degree beam angle helps keep output controlled for interviews, product shots, and fill light, while the included integrated diffusion filter softens the source for more flattering skin tones and smoother highlights.

Color Accuracy and Smooth Dimming

For color-critical work, the panel is rated at 96+ CRI to help maintain natural-looking tones in-camera. Brightness can be adjusted from 0% to 100% continuous dimming, making it easier to fine-tune exposure without changing your camera settings or altering the selected color temperature.

Mounting and On-Set Handling

The installed mounting yoke provides durable, practical handling with dual locking tilt control and a wide + / - 180-degree tilt range for quick angle changes. A built-in 5/8 in baby pin receiver allows fast mounting on compatible light stands or C clamps, helping the panel integrate smoothly into common grip and lighting setups.

Local Controls and DRX App Control

The light can be adjust manually via the control panel on the back of the fixture, or by using the new free Dracast DRX companion app available for iOS and Android smartphones and tablets.

Using the DRX companion app, all of the features of the light can be easily controlled along with the added ability to control multiple X Series lights simultaneously. The DRX app is the perfect companion to give you the look you need quickly and accurately.

Power Options for Studio or Location

The panel runs on 12 V DC with 35W power consumption and supports worldwide AC power (100 to 240 VAC, 50 to 60 Hz) via a barrel-connector power connection. For untethered shooting, the included dual NP-F battery plate supports two 7.4V batteries and is designed to deliver 100% of total output on battery power, helping maintain consistent brightness when working away from outlets.

Built for Regular Production Use

With an anodized blue and black housing and a durable aluminum and plastic build, the X Series LED500 is designed for everyday production handling. Estimated LED lifetime is 50,000 hours for long-term use in demanding workflows.
