The Dracast X Series LED500 Bi-Color LED 3-Light Kit is a compact, portable LED panel lighting kit built for interviews, small studio setups, and on-location video production. It includes lights, barn doors, light stands, and a resin-reinforced injection molded plastic travel case for safer transport between shoots.

Portable X Series Panels for Fast, Reliable Setup

The Dracast X Series is the newest compact LED panel light from Dracast. Weighing just 3.0 lbs, the X Series is designed with portability in mind. The panel includes an installed mounting yoke with a 5/8 inch baby pin receiver for fast and easy mounting on compatible light stands or C clamps, with dual locking tilt control and a + / - 180 degree tilt range for precise positioning.

Bi-Color Output with High Color Accuracy

Dial in the look of your scene with adjustable white color temperature from 3200K to 5600K CCT, useful for matching tungsten and daylight environments without gels. The optical system uses 256 SMD LED chips in a 16x 16 arrangement behind an 8 x 8 inch (203mm x 203mm) aperture, delivering a 45 degree beam angle. With 96+ CRI color rendition and 0% to 100% continuous dimming, the X Series is suited for natural skin tones and controlled exposure in both photo and video workflows.

On-Board Controls and DRX App Control

The light can be adjust manually via the control panel on the back of the fixture, or by using the new free Dracast DRX companion app available for iOS and Android smartphones and tablets.

Using the DRX companion app, all of the features of the light can be easily controlled along with the added ability to control multiple X Series lights simultaneously. The DRX app is the perfect companion to give you the look you need quickly and accurately. For multi-light setups, the Group Master / Slave control helps streamline changes across fixtures without interrupting your shoot.

Power Options for Studio or Location

Run the panel from AC power (100 to 240 VAC, 50 to 60 Hz) via the barrel connector power connection, or power on location using the included dual NP-F battery plate (7.4V * 2 DC). The fixture draws 35W and maintains 100% of total output on battery, making it a practical choice when outlets are limited.

Built for Production Use

Designed with an aluminum yoke and an aluminum/plastic housing in anodized blue/black, the X Series is made for repeat setup and breakdown. Estimated LED lifetime is 50,000 hours.
