NEW AAdynTech Punch Plus Variable

The NEW AAdynTech Punch Plus Variable is a high-output, adjustable CCT LED fixture built for film and broadcast lighting, with an adjustable color temperature range of 3,000°K to 6,000°K and an output of 4,688 fc @ 10 feet. Most remarkable is the Punch Variable draws only 4.78 amps of power at full output, making it an efficient choice when you need maximum punch on limited circuits.

High Output, Low Power Draw

Designed for demanding sets and stages, the Punch Variable delivers the intensity you expect from a much larger source (noted as brighter than a 2,500 watt HMI) while offering up to 90% energy savings. Precise brightness control with a variable dimming curve helps you fine-tune exposure without abrupt steps, and flicker-free performance up to 12,000 fps supports high-speed cinematography.

Clean, Comfortable Light for Talent and Set

Like all AAdynTech fixtures, the Variable generates no heat or harmful UV or IR emissions and operates cool to the touch, which helps keep talent comfortable and reduces heat load on set. It is self-contained with an auto-ranging universal power supply requiring no ballast, head cables or lamps, and instant ON ensures no warm-up wait time on set. A momentary-off douse button is also provided for quick cut and relight.

Beam Control with Quick-Change Lenses

When any of the lenses are used, optical efficiency provides a single light source eliminating multiple shadows. The Variable comes equipped with four quick change lenses to vary the beam angle for spot, medium or flood while maintaining a flat, even field of light, with included 5 degree, 15 degree, 30 degree, and 55 degree diffuser lenses. A heavy-duty yoke is provided for secure positioning and repeatable aiming.

On-Board Control and DMX Integration

Control is handled via a built-in digital User Interface Module (UIM), with a recalibration countdown hour “smart” meter for maintenance planning. For studio grids and larger systems, the fixture supports full DMX control with DMX loop-thru via 5-pin XLR DMX In/Out, plus wireless DMX/RDM control. Programmable lightning and strobe effects, along with multiple user memory storage and recall, help speed up repeat setups across scenes.

Built for Professional Environments

The Punch Plus Variable is specified for operation from -20c to +50c and includes an auto range voltage input of 100/277 VAC (50/60Hz) for easy deployment on standard power worldwide. It is certified UL, ETL, CSA, CE, and RoHS compliant.
