Arri 2K 7" Fresnel

The Arri 2K 7" Fresnel is a compact, location-ready Fresnel light designed to deliver 2000 watts of output at 120VAC (rated 120 to 240VAC) in a low-weight, easy-to-handle fixture. When fitted with a 2000 watt bulb this fixture will provide a 4.6' (1.4 m) diameter beam of 470 fc from a distance of 19.8' (6 m) at full spot. At full flood (same distance) it will provide a fc beam 22.8' (6.9 m) in diameter.

Beam Control for Fast, On-Set Adjustments

Arri's focusing system uses front and rear mounted knobs, making it easy to move quickly between a tighter, more intense spot and a broader flood wash without changing fixtures. This flexibility supports common workflows such as pushing punchy key light through diffusion, shaping a harder edge on talent or set pieces, or opening up to cover larger areas.

Cooling and Reliability in Real-World Use

Arri's cross cooling system reduces lamp housing temperature by 25% and lens temperature by 17%. With special air channels built into the aluminum extrusion, a constant stream of air passes around the Fresnel lens and into the lamphead regardless of the tilt angle. In practice, this helps the fixture stay more comfortable to operate and supports consistent performance during long takes and frequent repositioning.
