Its short focal length and wide-angle Fresnel lens help deliver impressive output with even distribution across the full beam area, making it a practical key, fill, or back light for interviews, product work, and controlled studio setups.

Compact Fresnel Performance for Small Studios and Location Work

Built with classic ARRI construction, using corrosion-resistant, extruded and die cast aluminum, this fixture maximizes body strength while maintaining the light weight of a location light. At 6.5 lb (2.9 kg), it is easy to rig, move, and reposition during fast-paced shoots, while still providing the familiar controllability of a tungsten Fresnel beam.

Optics and Beam Quality

The 3.2 in (81.2 mm) low expansion borosilicate Fresnel lens is designed to maintain consistent performance under heat. A spherical, specular reflector made from high-purity aluminum helps shape and direct the beam efficiently for clean, predictable coverage and smooth falloff, useful when you need controlled spill with barn doors (sold separately) or want to cut and shape light with flags and nets.

Mounting and Lamp Socket Details

The fixture uses a GY9.5 lampholder and supports a 5/8 in (16 mm) stand mount. It is also available as a hanging model with a pipe clamp, which can be helpful for studio grids and permanent installations where floor stands are limited.
