The Altman 2000W 7" Fresnel is a versatile tungsten fixture designed for key light, backlight, or kicker applications on location, in the studio, or as a dependable workhorse in rental inventory. It delivers classic Fresnel output with smooth beam control and is built for daily production use.

Flexible Lamping for Different Setups

This unit operates with 1000, 1500, or 2000 watt lamps, letting you match output and power draw to the scene, venue, or circuit capacity. The 7" Fresnel design supports controlled, even illumination that is well suited to interviews, narrative scenes, and stage environments where consistent beam quality matters.

Built for Production and Grid Use

Designed as a proline fixture, it features a front door with spring action top accessory ear and a short lead for grid use. The rugged lightweight die-cast and extruded aluminum housing uses a rib design for strength and ventilation, helping the fixture stand up to frequent handling while managing heat in continuous operation.

Accessory Compatibility and Control

The 2000L accepts all standard 9" (22.86 cm) accessories for straightforward integration into existing kits and rental inventories. An easy operating focusing control with Teflon guides supports smooth adjustments when dialing in the beam during setup and between takes. A spring loaded top accessories latch helps keep modifiers secure during use.

Yoke, Hardware, and Certifications

A lightweight, tubular steel yoke and non-corroding materials and hardware support reliable rigging and long-term durability. The fixture is U.L., c.U.L. and CE listed for 2000 watts and is made in the USA.
