NEW Gam GamTube Roll 800' T5

NEW Gam GamTube Roll 800' T5 is a colored filter sleeve designed to slip over T5 fluorescent lamps to correct or change light color. GamTubes are an excellent and economical choice to simulate neon, reduce glare, or color correct for motion picture and television production, while also working well for retail, architectural, residential, and decorative lighting applications.

How It’s Used

GamTubes are installed directly over the lamp for quick, tool-free color changes without gels, frames, or cutting. Because the sleeve format is reusable and durable, it is well suited for relamping cycles, seasonal displays, set changes, and other environments where you may need to swap looks efficiently. When removed, it folds flat for easy storage and shipping.

Performance Notes for T5 and T5 HO Lamps

*For T-5 and T-5 HO color life expectancy is 50% less particularly problematic are the T-5 HO lamps.

Color life expectancy does vary because of the different dies used to make each color. Color life is impacted by installation circumstances and optical design of the fixture and reflector. For example if the fixture design limits the flow of cooling air or a spectral reflector focuses the light back into the lamp, color life will be reduced. GamTubes™ mounted in fixtures exposed to sunlight are also subject to quicker fading due to UV rays from sunlight even when the light is not on.
