The NEW City Theatrical S4, SL, SH, PC Color Extender is designed to move gel material forward of the fixture’s focal plane to help reduce gel burnout and cut down on frequent gel changes. It is a practical accessory for busy repertory, touring, and event workflows where color changes need to stay consistent over long run times.

Compatible Fixtures

Source Four, Strand SL, Shakespeare, Pacific (19-50). These accessories can also be used with S4 PARNel, S4 Zoom, and S4 14 degree fixtures Note: We do not recommend the use of 5" long accessories in 50 lens tubes. Loss of light will occur. We do not recommend the use of any accessory in 70 or 90 lens tubes. Extreme loss of light will occur.

Construction and Finish

Fabricated from durable cold rolled steel with hemmed edges, each extender provides a rigid, stage-ready frame for gel. Gel materials are placed in the slot at the front of the unit, positioned forward of the fixture’s focal plane, and the unit is finished in black powdercoat.
