The NEW Lycian SuperStar 1.2 1275 Followspot is a front-of-house followspot built for live events and theatrical productions that require a strong, controllable beam and reliable operator workflow. The LYCIAN Model 1275 SuperStar 1.2K Follow Spot is designed for a 1200-HB metal halide lamp, though a 1200 HMI lamp can be substituted with reduced output.

Optics and Focusing Control

This unit employs a single lever variable focus optical system using a galvanized steel cable linkage and uses only optical grade white water plate glass lenses. The single-lever trombone design makes it easy to move between tighter and wider focus positions quickly during cues, while maintaining a predictable feel for the operator.

Gate Assembly and Beam Shaping

The gate assembly consists of a nichrome steel heavy duty iris, paired stainless steel trim shutters, gobo slot, and a heavy duty fading shutter. This layout supports fast, precise beam control for isolating performers, trimming spill off scenery, and executing smooth fades without breaking tracking rhythm.

Color and Operator-Friendly Layout

A six color automatic self-canceling color boomerang is provided, along with top-mounted controls for straightforward access during operation.

Safety and Power-Off Behavior
