The ETC ColorSource Spot Body is an RGBL LED ellipsoidal fixture designed for punchy stage and studio front light, specials, and gobo projection. The ColorSource Spot uses a precise combination of red, green, blue and lime emitters. ETC applied its extensive color-mixing knowledge to the fixture, to ensure that it can achieve brighter, richer and more believable colors than other budget LEDs, especially in the warm end of the color spectrum.
Color quality that holds through the show
Bright, punchy, with incredible output, the ColorSource Spot is also more dependable. You don’t have to worry about it fading over the course of a show, because it compensates for thermal droop to keep the color going strong. In practice, that means more consistent brightness and color stability over time, even as the fixture warms up.
Control and connectivity for modern rigs
For straightforward setup in venues and rental inventories, the fixture supports easy-to-use, simple RGB control (adding lime automatically when needed), plus RDM capability for remote addressing and fixture management. It offers DMX in and thru, along with power in and thru using PowerCON connectors for cleaner cable runs and easier daisy-chaining.
Optics and effects-ready body
Optically calibrated, homogenized optics help produce an even field, and low-noise fan operation supports quieter spaces. The body includes slots for glass or stainless steel patterns and a soft focus diffuser, plus an accessory slot for motorized pattern devices or an optional iris, making it well suited for crisp breakup looks, logo projection, and controlled beam shaping.
Compatible Source Four LED system accessories
The ColorSource Spot accepts all the accessories, zoom and fixed-focus lens tubes, and CYC and Fresnel adapters that fit ETC’s Source Four LED luminaires. It works with Source Four LED Fresnel and Source Four LED CYC adapters, giving you the versatility of the Source Four LED system in an affordable fixture capable of filling any role in a light rig.
