The Fresnel Studio LED1000 Daylight LED Light from Dracast is packed with the latest LED technology backed with solid construction and intuitive design. The daylight-balanced output is set to 5600K, making it a practical choice for exterior shoots or for matching other daylight sources such as HMIs. Dimming from 0-100% is handled locally on the fixture or remotely via DMX512 for studio grids and multi-light setups.

Beam Control for Studio and Location

A wide 15-60° spot-to-flood range lets you quickly switch from a tight, punchy key to a broader wash, while the included barndoors help shape spill and keep light off backgrounds. The 7-inch Fresnel lens delivers the familiar Fresnel look and controllable falloff that’s ideal for interviews, product work, and narrative lighting.

Color Quality and Efficient Output

With a CRI over 95, the Fresnel Studio LED1000 is designed for accurate skin tones and consistent color on camera. It’s rated to output the equivalent of a 1000W tungsten halogen Fresnel while running cool to the touch and drawing far less power, helping reduce heat in small studios and lowering the load on HVAC.

Quiet Operation and Flexible Power

For sound-sensitive environments, the Fresnel 1000 uses a dead-quiet, passive heat sink cooling design (no fan noise near microphones). It ships with a 100-240 VAC power adapter for worldwide use and, with an optional adapter, can also run on 24 VDC when mains power is unavailable. A yoke with a 5/8-inch receiver supports standard light stands or hanging mounts.
